Tunç Banyo

For the Tunç Banyo project, Studio Blai transformed recycled plastic panels into spatial elements at different scales for a private residential bathroom. Used in modular storage boxes, the bathroom countertop, cabinet handles, and wall sconces, Blai Panel demonstrated that the material can create a holistic design language rather than functioning only as a surface finish. Extending from small details to primary functional elements, the application shows how recycled plastic can offer durable, hygienic, and long-lasting solutions at the residential scale. The panels produced for the project create an atmosphere that is both functional and full of character, while making the relationship between sustainable materials and everyday life visible.
